One of the most popular desserts in Thailand is the Kao Niaw Ma-Muang, or Sweet Sticky Rice with Ripe Mango and Coconut Cream. I wasn't able to try this the first time I was in Bangkok with family, so I made sure to order it at least once when I got back last January with friends. Bought this from the Platinum Mall food plaza.

It was kind of disappointing. There was nothing really special about it; it was just that--sweet sticky rice in coconut cream and sliced ripe mango. Philippine mangoes taste so much better.
